Final Gathering, meet you there

Mental Ray Rendering have many controls to tweak, and also methods involving mostly diferent lightning setups.

I tried Global Ilumination, wich calculates the image following photons that bump and jump around in the scene.

Experimented also with HDRI wich is based in special images that the renderer uses to project light out their gamma.

But in the end i liked the most the look i achieved with Final Gathering in Mental Ray, using simple Shaders with a little bit of Reflection.

My head is ready, yours?

After Modeling, went into other projects/works... and finally the Head was imported in Softimage XSI (shown Here) for further work.

As you can see we have added my current Haircut in 3D and some Blade Runner Make up (Pris character) in Texturing!!

How do i get here? talking about images, the first step was creating a 3D Head Modeling or Mesh, of my own head.

I must admit that i have started this project about 3 year ago, wich is not meaning that took 3 years to acomplish, but that i`ve done many things in between ;) in fact for the head modeling i think i spent 2 or 3 days (now i can do it faster). For that time i was using 3dsMax, before i definitely switched to Softimage used here for Texturing, Rigging, Posing, Animation and Rendering (names of diferent processes in the world of 3D).

As you can see i have used 1 of the many methods available for head modeling, wich is starting on the eye and going on, face by face...

Same Pose diferent Angle, acentuating the Emotional side, i think it needs a little work on the Bak, no no, it needs a Background, and some Focal Blur effect.

Hi there, Welcome to my little virtual spot; WoW! That`s Me, or at least my Wired Alter Ego.

Absolutely WIRED borns as a project, to expose my Musical, Visual and Conceptual interests.

I`ve been a devoted vinyl collector and professional Dj for about 20 years, but that´s just a half of my activities cause also been working as a designer and 3D Animator for video and television for a long time too.

The idea of blending the 2 careers into a single Concept, Place, Live Performance been in my mind for a while, and presto, here we are, The Starting Point...

I can`t imagine a better place to be.
